As part of the SPUR Regional Strategy, we are assessing the state of regionalism and regional governance on a variety of issues, including sustainability. The Bay Area has long been a national leader in promoting environmental solutions. Saving the Bay, preserving the greenbelt and ensuring clean air are some of our region’s great successes, but as the region continues to grow, countless new challenges will materialize.
