The Arhoolie Foundation presents BRIDGING THE BLUES, a rare solo performance by blues legend Taj Mahal and Oakland’s own GRAMMY-winner Fantastic Negrito. Henry Saint Clair Fredericks, who uses the stage name Taj Mahal, is an American blues musician, a self-taught singer-songwriter and film composer who plays the guitar, piano, banjo, and harmonica, among many other instruments. Xavier Amin Dphrepaulezz, better known by his stage name Fantastic Negrito, is an African-American singer-songwriter whose music spans blues, R&B, and roots music.
