Young Marcel Everett hails from Orlando, FL, and goes by the name XXYYXX. He is not a geneticist, but an electronic musician and a producer who has remixed for Tinashe and Usher, and whose music has been featured in Grand Theft Auto V. After making a big electronic splash headlining the San Francisco Noise Pop Festival back in 2013, XXYXX has been hitting the fest circuit hard, spending 2016 touring the U.S and bringing his Weeknd-ish sounds to the Shambhala Festival, Beach Goth, Mysteryland and Ancient Future. As New Times Miami said, “he’s not just good for his age, he’s good!”
