This is Jon Zilber, a Tony Bennett loving Culture Squad member in need of a recommendation for the best burrito in SF.

1. What was the show that first excited you about live theater?

Well, there was an outdoor production of “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” in the mid-1970s that featured someone with the same name as me (Jon Zilber) as Linus.

2. Who is your favorite performer?

Tony Bennett never disappoints. I’ve seen him three times — once in Vegas (had my picture taken with him!), once in Union Square, and in his recent tour with Lady Gaga. Each performance was mesmerizing. (Lady Gaga wasn’t bad, either…)

3. Where are you from and what brought you to the Bay Area? (Besides the burritos and bridges)

There are burritos here? Why did nobody tell me?

4. What would you tell someone who would rather stay on the couch all day and watch Friends reruns than have a night out on the town?

“Hey, Aniston — enough with the Ben & Jerry’s. Let’s see what’s new on RushTix!”

5. What has been your favorite RushTix event?

“Sunday’s Finest” was basically church without that whole religion thing. A great gospel choir, a contortionist, and brunch.

6. If RushTix had an animal mascot what kind of animal would it be and what name would it answer to?

The RushTix mascot would have to be a chameleon — constantly changing. I suspect it’s name would be “Bourque” — not a reference to Jill (RushTix CEO), but an homage to the Muppets’ Swedish Chef.
