Symphonic Series: Britten & Bernstein – Thu 1/31 

Berkeley Symphony presents the world premiere of Disillusioned Dreamer, a newly commissioned orchestral piece by Hannah Kendall inspired by a phrase from Ralph Ellison’s Invisible Man, followed by Berkeley Symphony’s first performance of Benjamin Britten’s Four Sea Interludes from Peter Grimes.

Stacy Ross returns to Custom Made to star in this vital play, set the early 1970’s, where Agnes (Ross) has turned her quiet bed and breakfast into one of the few spots where victims of domestic violence can seek refuge.

When Art Met Architecture – Thu 1/31 

Join acclaimed architect Takashi Yanai, FAIA, partner of Ehrlich Yanai Rhee Chaney (EYRC), and notable artist Johannes Girardoni, for a lively discussion to learn about living with art and designing homes that honor it.

LEVYsalon: Dance Performance Showcase – Sat 1/26 – Sun 1/27

LEVYdance hosts a recurring micro-residency, LEVYsalon, that provides multidisciplinary artists with 10 hours each of free rehearsal space to work, create, explore & develop ideas and themes.
